A quick and easy way to obtain official permission to go out
The goal was for users to be able to "install" the app so that the process is even faster, and of course, able to work offline.
I realize this is of course only for a very narrow target market (Greece) but I'm sharing here just in case someone has the time and will to contribute a translation or to give any suggestions or code review.
After almost 15 hours of development, the product is now live. It works on both iOS and Android, and saves the name and address in local storage.
There is still some code cleanup to be done, and some styling that can be improved, but this is definitely usable!
We need to send an SMS before leaving the house. Who's going to remember all these codes? Plus, we need to type our full name and address every time? Even during quarantine, ain't nobody got time for that!
So the goal was to build a quick bilingual web app that stores the user's name and address, and generates a pre-filled SMS ready to be sent.
