We are currently at #1 Product of the day with over 200 upvotes.

I opened up 1Feed to public sign-up, meaning I no longer needed to manually invite beta users. It was nice getting to finally let anyone use what I'd been working on. Around 200-300 people signed up during this phase.

I invited the first beta users to 1Feed! I gave people fancy invite links, but it was all actually a show — the signup page was completely open, the invite links just had a bunch of gibberish in the URL so people thought it was unique. I also made personalised invite pages with the user's avatar based on their Twitter handle. In total, I initially invited around 50 private beta users in September.

This was the day I started properly working on 1Feed! Technically my first commit was on the 13th of August, but that was just committing the auto-generated boilerplate code, I didn't actually write any of it. Also, I was working on the 1Feed UI in a Codepen for a bit before this.
