Prioritize your life and work!
My second launch on ProductHunt brought me 56 upvotes and 41 new registered users up to this day. I wouldn't call it a success, but still a stepping stone for the future.
In general, I need to find the proper marketing channels to reach my target audiences better. Entrepreneurs, decision-makers, facilitators, students, and people interested in self-development, where are you?

Having two pricing options for individuals and two for companies/teams might have been too complex. And the free trial was not so obvious.
So I switched to three pricing options: Basic (free), Standard (50€/6mo), and Pro (70€/6mo), no matter if you are using it as an individual or as a company.

The "smart prioritization" requires mental attention and time to evaluate your options by multiple criteria. Sometimes, the evaluation is unclear because of a lack of information. That's where Artificial Intelligence can help, so I integrated auto-suggestions using GPT-3.
The UX lets you suggest criteria, the options to choose from, and the evaluations. The prioritization process can be reduced from 20-30 minutes to 5 minutes, of course, if you trust Artificial Intelligence.

The 4-step prioritization with evaluations by criteria might have been too complex for some people, who trust their gut more than analysis. For such people, I introduced intuitive prioritization. It allows you to compare your options two-by-two and sorts them by priority. That's especially beneficial for daily tasks, shopping lists, movies, music, dishes, and other daily prioritizations.
I rebranded the previous analytical prioritization as smart prioritization.

Creating an info product is a great way to attract leads and build an email list. So I made my second info-product, "Productivity Tips for High Achievers," as a lead magnet.
The ebook contains more than 120 selected tips on achieving your goals. It's available for purchase on Gumroad, or you can get it as a gift when you register for "1st things 1st." If you're looking for ways to increase your productivity and achieve your goals, this ebook is definitely worth checking out!

I created an info product, "Productivity Tips for Procrastinators," as a lead magnet. It is available to buy on Gumroad or as a gift at "1st things 1st" when you register.
This product aims to help people who have trouble getting started with productivity by providing them with tips and tricks that have worked for me and many others. I know how tough it can be to get motivated, so I wanted to create something that would help others in this same situation.

As cookie consent widgets are mandatory in European Union, I created it as a module for "1st things 1st" and started selling as a by-product. It's an important addition to any website because it ensures that visitors are aware of the cookies being set and can consent (or not) to their use. The widget is easy to install and configure, and it looks great on any page. I'm happy to offer it for other Django developers as a paid app, so be sure to check it out if you need this functionality!

On this day, I got my first real paying customer, who was not friends and family.
This was my proof that the tool is essential, and I can do business out of it. I just need to reach more people I am targeting. And I believe that with proper content marketing and later targeted advertisements on Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, that would be possible.

It took three years to get to this point, but finally, I launched "1st things 1st" on Product Hunt. Will the project gain enough popularity and paying users? We will see. The journey of my business is still starting. Hopefully, it will be a bright one.

After integrating payments with Stripe, I found out that legally a SaaS company must have a registered company branch in every country where its clients reside. So if I want to go worldwide, I must have a Merchant of Record.
After doing quick research, I chose Paddle.com as the reseller and Merchant of Record for my service.
For the strategic prioritizer "1st things 1st," you can buy non-recurring six-month subscriptions.

I am happy with Paddle as a payment provider and Merchant of Record. Their user interface is friendly and intuitive, and there are enough features for my needs. And they are using Stripe behind the scenes.
Just accepting my business took more time than I expected (as far as I remember, it was several weeks).

wow, that is long. Yeah they use Stripe behind the scenes but don't give you access to the Stripe API etc
