Email Marketing Agency
The machine can't be stopped at this point!. It's crazy that just 2 months ago I was starting to doubt if I was good enough. Many bad sales calls and sleepless nights. Now that I have client results it's been a lot easier to close deals. I will save the next major milestone for when we hit 20k so I don't spam my wall haha.
All I can say is if your product or service gets people results fast push that shit hard! You need to get the first clients in the door for the momentum to build. If I would have done it all over again I would have taken on a free client, which wouldn't have been a problem at all.
How I reinvest this cash will determine how well we will be able to sustain this growth. I'm super thankful and appreciate all the encouragement from the indie hackers community. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
This is getting out of hand now lol. The new client signed based on a referral. As long as we can keep producing results I think I can keep up the momentum. Will be hiring first-team member at $10,000 MRR. For now, the workload is still self-managed.

This is fantastic Aaron. Many congrats.
I'm curious. At $2k/mo per customer, is it just for email creation services?

Thanks. The first client came from cold email outreach.

Just signed another client which puts us at 6k MRR in a little over 1 month. We haven't spent any money on ads yet but looking to invest in some retargeting to stay top of mind with potential clients. When momentum starts its hard for it to stop I can tell you that.

What a wild ride. The first month was not looking to good but once the first client signed things began to fall in place. We now have case studies to show future clients that will make it much easier to decide on using our email marketing services. We are thinking to sell in 1 year at around 10k MRR when all the processes are ironed out.

I almost forgot to mention we were featured on authority website income. Really hit it off with the guy after letting him know his blog post helped me get my first client. I wasn't expecting a guest post opportunity but I took it! Jon is really a great guy and you should read his blog for SEO and growth hacking tips.

Today our first client made their 1st sale through our Klaviyo email marketing campaigns. There will never be a day like this again so I am very thankful. We now have to make sure we maintain revenue to keep our customers happy. I will air high five myself since it's only me haha.

Officially a klaviyo partner. Had the first onboarding call today. This is important because now I can tell potential clients that I'm actually certified in helping them get results with Klaviyo. I plan on focusing on their Masters program so we can be known for email marketing instead of a jack of all trades.

20XMedia will now be an official email marketing agency once we pass the klaviyo partnership program. This will be a great achievement for the company. It will also build trust in customers when they know we have been vetted by one of the top email marketing platforms for ecommerce businesses.

I knew a contact that had an authority blog helping black entrepreneurs. I offered to write a guest post and they accepted it. :) The goal is to build links to our agency while also giving massive value in the process. We plan on doing at least 1 guest post per month.

Hi Aaron, Congrats on the growth. Do you charge clients on a flat-monthly cost or percentages?
