April 27, 2026 I built a club that costs $21,000/year and offers nothing. Here's what I've learned so far.

A few months ago I had a simple question: is pure price a product?

Not price as a signal of quality. Not price as a barrier protecting something valuable inside. Just price as the entire point.

So I built 21K Club. $21,000/year. No benefits. No community. No events. No newsletter. No content. The only thing you get is a number on a public ledger and the knowledge that you paid $21,000 for nothing.

What I've learned so far:

  • "The price is the product" is easy to say but hard to communicate without looking like a scam

  • Zero members is more honest than fake members, but harder to sell

  • The application form creates more trust than a direct payment link
