We created 2B LOCAL because we were frustrated by a problem that many travellers experience: you want to experience your destination in the most authentic way possible, but instead you end up in tourist traps. The reason for this is that: All too often, travel apps and guidebooks are filled with generic tips, paid-for promotions, or recommendations that are out of date. The best tips always come from locals, friends, or friends of friends, but these local tips are scattered, hard to find, and are often shared privately.

With 2B LOCAL, we want to make authentic travel accessible to everyone. Our mission is to help people experience destinations through local eyes — to discover hidden gems, support small businesses, and connect with the real local vibe of a place. For us, travel isn’t about checklists or Instagram hotspots. It’s about stories, people, and moments that can’t be bought.
