Hello IH,
Almost a month ago, I've released 30 Seconds of Knowledge. It is a Browser Extension (Currently only Chrome) that displays a random coding snippet every time you open a New Tab. You can choose to display snippets from 5 different programing languages and a special category Interview Questions. In a month, after some basic marketing on Product Hunt and Twitter, the extension gained 15k active users and the website has ~3.5k users/month.
However, the growth has slowed down and I'm wondering what are the next steps I could take to keep the extension alive?
I'm adding more features and languages to the extension as well as porting it to Firefox and Safari. But I'm afraid that without some serious marketing it won't be enough.
All suggestions are most welcome!
P.S. You can checkout the extension here https://30secondsofknowledge.com/ or directly here on IH.

At first glance, it doesn’t seem very useful in practice. The code snippets seems largely contrived, trivial, and not useful in the real world. I only looked at JavaScript, so that might not be the case for the other languages. I would invest in adding better snippets.

Thank you for the reply!
The snippets are community contributions. The base snippets originate from projects like 30 Seconds of Code, but since initial release, more and more snippet submissions are coming in, directly into the extension project.
I guess that even to be able to add more I would need to gain more exposure on github first. There is only so much I can do alone and it would be a painful process. But yes I guess that more and better (more useful ? ) snippets would be a great investment.

The problem is that most of the snippets I saw wouldn’t even pass code review. I mean, one of them was this:
const currentURL = () => window.location.hrefThat’s kind of a useless snippet. The plugin itself is an awesome idea, but I would focus on cleaning things up and adding more useful snippets. Even if that means you doing the painful work yourself.
That might help grow/retain users.

Well sure its not going to pass a code review, its a crowdsourced code. Not much very strict code review was done on any of the snippets, but I think you are missing the point especially in regards to these short oneliner snippets.
The idea is isn't for someone to learn to always put window.location.href as a return value of a function that does nothing else and use it to get the url. The idea is to show a complete newcomer to JS that "Hey the url you are currently on currentURL is actually stored inside window objects location object under a href field. Something like that, utilizing the human tendency to remember things they can see and visualize.
I mean hey, I could be completely wrong here but thats my view on those things. I would however at some point categorize all snippets by difficulty and skill level needed to understand them, so that users can choose which snippets to display. But I still wouldn't remove these.

I'm not trying to offend you or anything. I'm simply sharing, from the perspective of a potential user (me), why I deleted the extension after trying it out. Regardless, good luck with your project!

No man, didn't take offense to anything you said! Don't worry, I don't involve emotions in this kind of discussions. I'm trying to get some valuable feedback and help so no room for being offended if you ask me :D Just wanted to challenge your view to see if we can get something more from this exchange.
Anyway thank you for your time and your feedback it is really appreciated! Cheers!

Nice extension. If you want to add exercise mode, you can show snippet with missing parts, so developers cannot navigate before solving the problem. Cheating is possible but you can gain some real users.

Now see, that would be quite an interesting feature. I'll definitely take it into consideration! Thanks so much for the idea!

About
Being a mentor to two junior developers, I got an idea for an Extension that would give them a quick look into useful coding knowledge, every time they open a new tab. All content can be digested in less than 30seconds.
