30 Wears
Can I wear that 30 times?
I'd like to pretend that it was some kind of master-stroke of marketing. In reality, our app was shared on several high-profile Instagram stories and our phones were buzzing all night with notifications of registrations!
Anyways, we have an awesome new update in the works that addresses a number of things we heard as feedback from our users and lots of quality of life changes.
🚀
We're excited to announce that our app is available to people in both the Google Play store and Apple's iOS store!
Let's all make a positive change – together!

We launched in the Google Play Store as an open beta (and a bit later on Apple Test Flight), launched a website and recorded this video walking the judges through the app.
As expected it was of course a bit rough around the edges, being a 1-month side project, but we were really proud of how it turned out!

Working for the Fixathon hackathon, we started work on the prototype.
The garment industry is dirty, and consumer behaviour shifts recently are not helping. We settled on building an app to promote the existing #30wearschallenge project by Eco-Age's Livia Firth to promote "slow fashion" and sustainability from the consumer themselves.

The fashion industry produces 20 per cent of global wastewater, 10 per cent of global carbon emissions and textile dyeing is the second largest polluter of water globally. We could not just stand by.
