3geonames

Mapping latitude, longitude, elevation to a three geo names has been an open problem for a while. You can now communicate your precise location, including altitude, in just three Geonames.

For example, London-ZERO-OK is a location in London UK, it corresponds to 51.115340, 0.093690, 0

While https://3geonames.org/London-ZERO-OKEG corresponds to 51.115340, 0.093690, 6 - i.e., the same location at an elevation of 6 meters above ground level.
