404 Warning
Broken Link Alert System
I'd love to hear what other tools are used, if any. This is a micro-SaaS meant to focus on one task, and do it well.
The project is at a point now where I think I could use some outside testing and validating. #launch

You should share this with software testers.
Try here - https://club.ministryoftesting.com/c/cool-projects
I can share it much more if you would like, or I can wait a bit if you'd rather get smaller bits of feedback first.

I’d really appreciate it if you would share it, thank you! My circle is quite small so some feedback from real users would be great.

The idea for 404 Warning hit me when I was trying to navigate the website of a local small business and could not find the info I wanted without running into numerous 404 errors.

Reading the Micro-SaaS guide, I wanted to focus on something automated to help small businesses, and small business websites are often, unfortunately, poorly maintained

Screaming frog, you can automate using the command line or it has a scheduler built.

Usually, I check through Ahrefs - this tool shows what links are lost or broken. If you need smth cheaper - try Linkody, but I can't recommend you it 100%, because I am testing it right now)
Let me know if you find a tool that works for you.
I wrote a little ruby script with http/net and nokogiri, Pretty easy to get all the links in page and see what response it gets, continue until the link horizon is exhausted. I'm not sure this needs to be a sass.
Is this something you can figure out in the Google Search Console too?
