We got approved by Adsense and we can start getting a revenue stream out of the platform.
We just passed 400 designed ad templates. The goal is to continue offering high quality and completely free templates for different niches and with different styles.
We just made our first $1 today so the project is officially generating revenue!

One piece of feedback, I would replace the lorem ipsum with real ad copy.
It is hard to visualize how it would look, but if you pulled real add copy from real ads and added it, it would be much easier to see how to use the template etc.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea. Thing is i'm doing it on my own and spending more time on ad copy would really decrease the number of designed templates. I can barely manage to do 10 ads on a good day.
I could probably come up with some placeholder text for different niches I guess, so that people could get a better image compared to the current stuff.Thanks for the feedback, i'll have to figure out something.

Just use one ad.
Pick a good performing ad off Facebook and use it.
'A better sleep with a good mattress' is better than 'lorem ipsum' etc. :)

I've decided to make our headline tool free to use and I've also launched https://8designers.com/templates
Free display ad templates and banners and just passed 360 total designed templates. The goal is to continue adding new designs each day and reach 1500 by the end of this year.

We've fixed some minor visual bugs and improved the home page a bit. Change the font and some more minor edits.
The next step would be to start a blog and try to be consistent with posting on it at least a couple times per week.

We've fixed some minor bugs and implemented some slight changes on the dashboard so that our user can manage and submit requests easier and more effective.
We're now spending time optimizing our ad landing pages and will start working more on marketing the service.

Finally I finished designing and coding the new website. The wordpress version was big and load time was awful.
I'm still making minor changes and fixing broken links but so far it's looking pretty good.
Next up is some on-page seo and working on the portfolio page to get more examples.
After posting on IH and producthunt and emailing 3 people about the service I have successfully got my first customers.
Also I have launched a separate subforum somewhat related to the main service where people can post jobs, find work, learn or just talk graphic design related topics https://marketplace.8designers.com
But I will make a separate product for the forum soon.
After months of development and setup we are officially launched.
The idea is simple - to offer high quality ad design for companies and startups.
The advertising industry is huge and a lot of people don't seem to yet realize that the quality of your ad is one of the main factors when it comes to getting leads and conversions.
Didn't get featured though, which is sad but I'll guess we'll try again soon.
Also fixed some bugs on the platform with the membership plans and some dashboard UI fixes.
Also working on some facebook ads and cold emailing.
