Open Source Feature Flaging with the best DX in town
New year - new me, right? Even though I'm personally not the biggest fan of new year's resolutions I still think that sometimes you need that one nudge to do something. And for me it has been getting to know someone whos into marketing as well as the new year.
My goal for 2024 is to focus on marketing and research. I think that Abby is a great product but for some reason user's don't actively use it. I do have a customers which I know personally but my landing page or the app itself hasn't converted anyone (yet).
My goal is to change that. First of all I want to know why people don't convert: Do they just want to play around? Did I give them wrong expectations? Am I not explaining the tool well enough.
Follow along my journey of learning & changing things around converting users and understanding them
About
I was working on a Next.js project where we wanted to implement feature flags and do some A/B testing. We wanted to have a solution with SSR / SSG and amazing DX. Abby has all of this

Hey Tim!
Website looks cool! I’m a business leader in the tech space. We have a business development company and we are looking for products that we can market at our expense and participate in the equity and the revenue we generate. Would love to explore how we can sell this. I think you’re on to something with just a little refinement in the message it can get there.
It's inspiring to see your commitment to enhancing your marketing strategy in 2024, Tim! Identifying the reasons behind user non-conversion is a crucial first step, and your approach of questioning whether user expectations align with your product and if the tool's functionality is well-explained is spot-on. The transparency in acknowledging the challenge and your dedication to learning and adapting is commendable. Best of luck with your journey to convert users and gain a deeper understanding of their needs. Looking forward to following your progress!
Hey Tim,
I'm also curious about your experiences:
I've been working on a landing page builder where we tackle those elements, converting visitors into leads and keep landing pages simple and effective.
All the best Tim!
Cheers, Steven
Hey Steven, thank you so much for your comment!
I haven't added any testimonials/reviews, but have a section called "Used by developers at" with a list of companies)
I'm honestly not sure about that and would love your feedback here! Visitors sign up, but don't end up integrating it
I personally think so, have gotten good feedback from my ICP on that
I assume so and heard that from my ICP
That's pretty nice! Just looked into it and will defo be on my list. I want a custom-built landing page for Abby since it's open source and kind of part of that.
Best
Tim
