My MVP was well received by my network and after some rigorous testing and a few more iterations adding some cool features I launched the beta just as the world was entering Coronavirus lockdown. Not ideal timing so I decided my first clients could be companies who have been forced to go remote. I set about picking some companies I thought were doing good work to aid with the pandemic and offer them the platform for free as a good will gesture.

With requirements gathered and nearly all the fancy features trimmed down to just the core product I had scope for a real minimum viable product and some hand-drawn wireframes.

I set out building it using a tech stack I was familiar with: Typescript all the way down. Gatsby, React and Serverless Framework for the API. All in Typescript.

My new year's resolution in 2020 was to take better care of my team and find a solution to get regular anonymous feedback from them. I tried a bunch of tools but nothing seemed to fit our requirements so I began my market research journey to finding out how I can build something better.
