We approached our professional network carefully to make sure the first users were giving us as much honest feedback as possible, while also not burning contacts during the early stage of the journey.

The games industry is very enthusiastic about tech and we found that companies who supported our research were also those who were happy to join us early.

After 3 months of research, design and coding we launched our beta to get people using the planner for real campaigns and ultimately discovering the bugs we hoped never existed.

They say you should feel ashamed of your first release and while there was (and still is) plenty to do, we decided the time was right.
