Effortlessly build, translate and adapt your resume to any j
Hey folks,
Going through subreddits, I noticed that most people don’t use proper formatting that fits ATSs (Applicant Tracking Systems) or help recruiters read their resume.
Either they use some strange font, columns, a picture or it’s overall very hard to read because of the formatting they use but also, very hard for ATSs to parse it.
So I built Adaptify to resolve that issue and give your resume a much better chance of making it to an actual recruiter and saving you a whole lot of time while doing so.
On top of that, living in Quebec, one other thing I’ve noticed is that most resume tools out there don’t handle switching between languages very well, in my case English and French
Every time I update my resume I have to do everything manually in both languages so I wanted a tool that would automatically handle the translation.
Here’s what Adaptify does right now:
Resume parser — Upload your current PDF and it will parse it into an editable form while keeping the structure ATS-friendly.
Bilingual resume creation — Easily switch between English and French for your base resume or for Job-specific tailoring (more languages support is in the works).
Job-specific tailoring — Paste in a job description, and it adapts your base resume (The one you uploaded) to match relevant keywords and requirements.
PDF download with ATS-safe formatting — No tables or fancy elements that confuse scanners and consistent formatting that helps recruiters read your resume.
Coming soon:
ATS scoring — See how your resume might score in a recruiter’s system.
Keyword extraction — Find out exactly which terms you’re missing for a given job posting.
Job tracking system — Keep track of where you’ve applied and the status of each application. It will go hand in hand with the job adaptation but you will be able to add jobs manually as well.
Cover letter generation — Similarly to resumes, be able to generate cover letters.
Interview preparation - With the job description prepare for a potential interview with generated questions.
The goal is to make something that’s actually useful for people applying to jobs in the world, which is one of the biggest struggles for many people right now, and not just another “pretty resume” generator, but a tool that helps you pass the bots and get interviews.
This is a personal project and I would love feedback on:
Features you think are missing
If you’ve ever had to apply in multiple languages — how did you handle it?
Would you pay for an ATS-focused resume tool if it actually improved your callback rate?

“Really interesting project 👏! I’ve seen so many people struggle with resumes that look nice but get rejected by ATS. The bilingual (English/French) angle is unique — I haven’t seen many tools solve that well.
Curious: how do you balance keeping resumes ATS-friendly while still making them look appealing for human recruiters? And have you thought about expanding beyond English/French to other languages like Spanish or German?
Love how practical and down to earth this feels, especially the bilingual focus. A quick demo that flips the same resume between English and French and a short note on how you handle uploads would build trust fast. Can your parser handle Canva exports and phone photos, or do you prefer a clean PDF only?
