March 18, 2024 New Blog Post: Tracking without cookies? Browser Fingerprinting!

There is a way to track the behavior of your users beyond using cookies. It's called browser fingerprinting or device fingerprinting.
Unlike cookies, which can be deleted, fingerprinting operates without the user's knowledge.
Is it dangerous? Not really. Should we be more careful? Definitely! In our next blog post, we will try to explain what exactly browser fingerprinting is and how you can utilize it or protect yourself from it!

Is your website meant to be corporate, unclear and mixed English with German?

    1. 1

Hey, it's clearly a corporate blog, as the URL contains our company's name. Yes, we have both a German and an English page:

      English: https://www.adcolabs.com/blog/
      German: https://www.adcolabs.de/blog/

Thanks for pointing that out :)

Thanks for pointing out. We will fix that in the future :)

Any other suggesttions? Did you like the overall experience of the blog?

          1. 1

            The blog is clean 🤷

I'm not sure what stages you guys are at but the announcement leaves a lot of questions about the product, if it's B2B demo call and direct sales it might be fine, if it's for self service buying IDK what it is yet, is it a service with UI or API only? And not much details about the API, what part of the process is offered here

June 2, 2020 Not a typical indiehacker story

There was no MVP in 14 days. We also did not build in public. I know most indie hackers believe in their community building skills, but we knew that if we wanted to create a product and launch it, it had to meet my standards.

So we built something and evaluated its quality. And if it was not working, we rebuilt it and made it better.

February 1, 2020 Starting a new Journey

Like every great story, this one starts with two people meeting somewhere by pure coincidence and finding out that they both share the same passion for something and wanted to build products. These two people were my co-founder and me, meeting on a project where we both worked as IT-Consultants. Nothing special so far. But as soon as we both realized that we share the same passion for building things, we understood that starting something new would make a lot of sense.

That's how we started meeting on a weekly basis and working on something in our spare time that we think people could benefit from.

Nothing special and very predictable.
