I have now completed two weeks for Google ads, and have the following stats:

1. Click through rate - 5% @ ~$2/ click
2. Conversion rate - 7%

• Defined as emails collected for using my free property analysis tool

3. Sales rate - ??

• Defined as homeowners who have requested a quote from one of the contractors that I have partnered with
• I haven't yet set this page up but my goal is 1-2% of users who have previously provided their email

Next Step:
Create a blog to drive free traffic into the funnel to avoid Google ads cost.

I just updated the main landing page for ADU Wizard. Can you take a look and give me some feedback?

Specifically, I'd like to know if the basics make sense. Can you tell what my product does? Am I missing anything obvious? Is it easily readable in your browser?

It is basically a blog with a free tool that analyzes a homeowners property to give them some basic preliminary information about their property with regards to building an accessory dwelling unit (guest house). All revenues come from referral fees from contractors I've made deals with (see "View our trusted contractors") cta.

After switching careers from Civil Engineer to software engineering about 5 years ago, I have always had the idea of creating a business that combined the two. I also really enjoy passive income ideas and tiny house living, so when California passed new legislation making it much easier for homeowners to build accessory dwelling units (backyard guest houses) I was immediately interested in creating a business around it.

All of my previous startup ideas have been very technically complex with very little work or thought put in to marketing and early validation. This time I swore I'd do things differently. I am one week in and have written almost no code, choosing to first create a landing page/ blog using Wordpress.
