Changed to in-app purchase system
After I got ~4000 impression in the app store and a conversion rate below 1% I knew that two things could have caused this issue.
- The app is not useful for everyone. This might be the case for multiple people, but some of them should see the benefits of the app.
I still need to create better description text on how it works. - An app priced at $9.99 is not converting very well.
So I thought about how I can change the app to be an in-app purchase app. The main goal was to keep the app useful for "free" users and make it better for the paid tier.
I decided to put a banner up for the free users "Streamed with Advanced Screen Share" which gets removed with the paid version.

App: "ready to sale"
