One of the biggest myths in local advertising is that TV can't drive foot traffic.

That may have been true with traditional TV.

It's not true with Connected TV.

When people see your business on streaming platforms, they're not just seeing an ad. They're seeing your storefront, your team, your products, and your brand in a trusted environment right from their living room.

That familiarity matters.

When it's time to decide where to eat, shop, work out, or book a service, people are far more likely to choose a business they've seen before.

The businesses getting the best results from CTV aren't targeting entire cities.

They're focusing on the neighborhoods and households most likely to visit, building recognition over time, and measuring the lift in foot traffic, website visits, phone calls, and direction requests.

CTV isn't just a branding channel anymore.

For local businesses, it's becoming one of the most effective ways to get more people through the front door.

The strongest signal here is probably not “people want to move countries.”

It is that different people want out for very different reasons, and those reasons create completely different urgency levels.

A 64-year-old planning retirement in Spain, a rig worker stuck in residency limbo, and someone considering a Berlin job are not the same user, even if they all use the same mobility data.

That is where I’d be careful. If Globale stays framed too broadly as “see where you can move,” you may get curiosity without knowing which group actually has enough pain to come back, trust the logic, and act on it.

The first useful decision is probably: which “I need a way out” segment has the strongest now-or-never pressure?

Happy to put the tighter first-user angle in writing if useful. I think the product has a real emotional wedge, but the first segment matters a lot.

The stronger angle here may not be “AI powered TV advertising.”

That explains the platform, but the local business owner probably cares more about a simpler moment:

“Will people near me remember my business when they’re ready to choose?”

    That is a different frame.

CTV becomes easier to sell when it feels less like buying media and more like building local familiarity before the customer decides where to eat, shop, book, or visit.

I’d be careful not to let the AI/TV-platform language hide that.

Happy to put the tighter local-business positioning angle in writing if useful. The product probably needs to make the first buyer feel this is about foot traffic and recognition, not just cheaper commercial creation.
