January 6, 2020 Created coming soon landing page

I've put together a coming soon landing page. This page may change in future. Idea is to capture name and email of the early adopters and beta testers. I created free mailchimp account. All the email from the website will be stored in MailChimp using their API in PHP. So, when I am ready I can send updates to affiliates and SaaS owners.

December 8, 2019 Technology Stack

If the purpose of the side project is to learn something new then I'll say go and explore different technology. But, if you are trying to validate an idea then build fast and fail fast. In my case, I'll do both. I'll stick to what I know good but also learn something new. So stack is Angular 8 Universal, Nodejs with NestJS, TypeORM and GraphQL. For the database, I'll give Postgre a try.

Injection molding is the most widely used procedure for the manufacture of components. A vast array of goods are produced using injection molding https://www.jasonmolding.com/, which differ considerably in complexity, their size, and program.

December 6, 2019 Acquired a new domain

So, I was going back and forth with some ideas on what should I brand the new idea I was sitting on for awhile. I eventually settled with AffiliateHunt. I like this name because it is application for both IndieHackers and for Affiliates. IndieHackers can hunt for influencers to promote their business and influencers, bloggers, youtubers, instagrammers, etc. can hunt for products to make money off of in their niche.

June 9, 2019 Idea for new SaaS

For my other SaaS business, we had a lot of people asking if we offered commission to affiliates. Which we did, however, we couldn't find a tool which would a) Gave payout commission from Stripe and b) That would give additional exposure beyond our customer base to get more affiliates.
Most solutions out there give mass payouts using Paypal. Because we compete with service like Paypal, using Paypal for payout was out of the question.
My goal was to go with out of the box solution but lack of finding one had led me to think, if I should build one. My worst case scenario is I can use it for myself and best case scenario, I can spin up another SaaS product.
