September 14, 2026 Hey all

Hey IH. I've been building Afflemi (afflemi.com), a tool for collecting client testimonials and showing them off without needing a website.

The problem I kept running into

Freelancers, coaches and small agencies live and die on social proof, but their testimonials are scattered: a WhatsApp message here, a LinkedIn comment there, a kind email from two years ago.
When a prospect asks "who else have you worked with?", they paste three screenshots and hope.
What Afflemi does

  1. You get a collection form with a link. Send it to a client, they write a testimonial, add a star rating and a photo, and give consent. It lands in your inbox as Pending. Nothing goes public until you approve it.
  2. A wall of love: a hosted page at afflemi.com/yourname. It's built from sections you arrange: a header in four layouts, nav links back to your site, a proof strip (your average rating plus real numbers like "120 projects"), testimonial lists filtered by tag, a featured quote, company logos, a call to action.
For a lot of coaches and freelancers this page is their website.
  3. Widgets for people who do have a site: pick a layout, copy one line of code, paste it in. New approvals show up on their own.
  4. Import what you already have. CSV upload, manual entry, or a Chrome extension: highlight praise on any site (LinkedIn, a Google review, an email) and it captures it with the author's name and photo.
  5. Share pages. Every testimonial gets its own page with a preview image, so a link posted on LinkedIn or WhatsApp shows a proper card.
