Why bathrooms?
Bathrooms are the most expensive room to renovate per square foot, and homeowners can't visualize the outcome until they've paid a designer. My bet: a tool that does one thing well — bathroom redesigns only, nothing else.
What it does
Upload a photo (or start from a text prompt), pick a style, and get a redesign that keeps your actual walls, window and door positions. That's the hard part — most of my engineering time went into a prompt pipeline that freezes the room's structure, so you get a plausible redesign of your bathroom, not a hallucinated one.

How I launched
SEO-first, product-second-to-none:
Working free generator on day one — ship the tool before the marketing site.
One page per style keyword (40 pages), each a real tool that generates in that style.
Manual indexing in small batches → 27 pages indexed within two weeks.

The narrow positioning is the interesting part. A bathroom-specific tool with dedicated style pages gives you a much clearer search intent than a generic AI interior-design product. The bigger test will be whether those indexed pages attract homeowners who are actually close enough to a renovation decision to pay.
