June 16, 2026 I got tired of switching tabs to check AI hallucinations, so I built a "Consensus Engine"

Hey IH πŸ‘‹

Like a lot of you, I've integrated AI heavily into my workflow (especially for coding and research). But I kept running into a problem: I couldn't blindly trust a single model. ChatGPT might give a generic answer, Claude might catch an edge case, and Gemini or Perplexity would have better live data.

I was constantly copying, pasting, and switching between four different tabs just to compare answers and spot hallucinations.

So, I built AI Verdict.

It’s a browser extension that lets you prompt ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity all side-by-side. But the real magic is what I call The Verdict Engineβ€”it automatically analyzes the responses from all four models, detects insight gaps, and synthesizes a single "Final Verdict."

The technical challenge: I didn't want to force users to bring their own API keys (too much friction) or pay per token. So, I engineered it to use your existing browser sessions to fetch responses. If you're logged into the models on your browser, AI Verdict securely routes the query through those sessions under the hood.

I just launched v1.0. It's freemium (2 models side-by-side for free, all 4 models + the Verdict Engine for Pro at a flat $39.99).

I would love for you guys to tear it apart and give me feedback. Specifically: Does the onboarding flow clearly explain how it uses your existing browser sessions, or is it confusing?

No single AI is perfect. I was tired of keeping four tabs open to cross-reference answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini. I built AI Verdict to stop tab-switching and automate the consensus.
