August 28, 2020 Alpha version complete!

We brought on two developers to help us build an alpha version, and it's now complete! We've done limited user testing, and look forward to releasing a version for all first responders later this summer. We plan to promote this tool to first responders at large fires in California this fire season.

March 1, 2020 Clickable prototype complete / review underway

Clickable prototype complete and we've begun to review it with first responders (primarily firefighters and EMS) using Figma. We're documenting their comments and suggestions, and hope to move into a development phase in April or May. We'd like to have a field-ready Beta by summer.

February 1, 2020 Design complete

Team worked together to finalize a design and move into a clickable prototype. Basic design decisions and structure is established, based on early feedback from potential users and advisors. Further design will be required, but basics are established.

November 29, 2018 Idea for app hatched

Following major fires in Northern California, the idea for this project was hatched. Essentially, the need for mapped data alongside chat and social network info is clear, and after many discussions with potential user the idea is validated. Moving forward with finding a design team.
