Airtable Extractor
A browser extension (Chrome + Edge) to export Airtable views
It does. It's exciting!
I think the lesson this extension has taught me is: Distribution matters. Build something people will pay for, yes, but also, build something that has ease of distribution. Sometimes that means people are actively searching for ways to solve the problem your thing solves. Other times it means you have a distribution channel of your own.
Generally speaking, I'm excited to fiddle around more in the Airtable space.

Congrats!
The Chrome version of Airtable Extractor now has exactly 500 users on Chrome. Edge has ~50 users, which makes sense because Table Capture directs anyone trying to export an Airtable table to the Chrome variant.
Generally speaking, I find that this extension has been an amazing lesson in building distribution-first apps.

Right now there have been no sales of export packs (I'm selling 30-packs for $25), but I'm very excited about the progress the extension has made.
Wins:
- Released to Edge
- Added export to Excel & Copy to clipboard
- Bug fixes: Improved messaging around a known bug, tightened the UX
Let's see how it goes?

There's a lot of data in Airtable and it should be easy to move it around.
