August 23, 2026 Why I’m building AISnapEdit: AI creation shouldn’t feel this fragmented

AI creative tools are moving fast, but using them still feels more complicated than it should.

If you want to create an image, turn it into a video, add music, and generate a voiceover, you often end up jumping between different products, learning several interfaces, and managing separate pricing systems. The models are powerful; the workflow around them is still fragmented.

That frustration is why I’m building AISnapEdit.

The current direction is one workspace for images, video, music, and voice, with different models available through a shared credit pool. The goal is to make it easier to move from an idea to finished content without stitching together several tools.

I’m still deciding what should be simplified and where users need more control. I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from other builders:

- Which part of AI creation feels most fragmented in your workflow?

- Would you prefer fewer opinionated workflows or access to more models?

- What would make an all-in-one workspace useful enough to replace the tools you already use?

I really relate to the “too many tools” problem. AI is supposed to simplify the workflow, not turn it into five different subscriptions and tabs. We’ve had the same mindset with ScaleBlogger—bringing more of the content workflow into one place.

  Thanks, David — that’s exactly the tension I’m trying to solve. The subscription cost matters, but the bigger problem is losing context every time you move between tools. ScaleBlogger is an interesting parallel. Which handoff was most painful in your workflow: research to writing, approval to publishing, or publishing to distribution?

  Thanks, Asif — I took a look at LaunchNest. The focus on discovery beyond launch day is relevant for us. Before submitting, I’d be curious how products are surfaced after launch and what kind of engagement founders typically see.

The strongest part is the workflow problem rather than the model count. The real question is whether one workspace meaningfully reduces creation friction, or just consolidates several tools users already prefer individually.

  That’s exactly the distinction I’m trying to get right. A larger model catalog isn’t enough if users still have to manually move assets, prompts, and settings between steps. The bar for AISnapEdit is whether those handoffs—from image to video, then music and voice—feel meaningfully simpler than using separate tools.
