As we simply didn't have the time and the capital to create the product ourselves and knew there needed to be a massive change in the market for a disruptive product such as this, we made everything accessible to the general public... ALGOSTAT on GitHub.....
During this time our team met with financial advisors and asked very important questions about the current SEC.gov system called "Edgar" which was not working well and is still to this day extremely outdated. We wanted to create a solution that would work. Also at this time, we scoured the internet for solutions that were similar... https://sentieo.com/ being one of them..... but later we found out they charged nearly $15K/month/user....
One of our team members was sitting in his room one day and was thinking of the main reason for a stock to move. Perception is a reality so he concluded it was mainly based on the news and how people felt. So if you could get instant notifications on important phrases you would be more notified. The data you would be scanning, however, would be the RAW data from the investment filings themselves... everything after an original piece of data is mostly bias or full of opinions...
