How it all started
A few months ago, I was hunting for a guitar amp: a used Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb. I had been using the same old amp for about 10 years now, and thought that it was time for an upgrade. For weeks I manually checked a few (local) second-hand platforms every day: eBay, Kleinanzeigen, Marktplaats, Leboncoin, Vinted, Wallapop...
That's when I realized I was spending a lot of time manually searching for a good deal, and that maybe this tedious task could be automated.
That's how All Second Hand was born. Initially All Second Hand was a tool that I made just for me. After a while, I was starting to wonder if maybe I could take this tool public, and generate a passive side-income from it.
What does the app do?
When performing a search on All Secon Hand, the app fans out to every second-hand platform of the user's choice and merges all the listings into a single feed.
The app also lets you save searches as auto-scans that alert you via email, Telegram, Discord, Slack, or RSS when something new appears.
The current state of things:
The web-app is live. Integrated platforms include eBay, Kleinanzeigen, Marktplaats, Leboncoin, Vinted, Wallapop, Subito, Finn, Blocket, OLX, Reverb, and more.
As far as I know, the added features all work correctly. I do however realise that some things could use some optimizing, and be made more clear for the end-users.
I only recently indexed my website etc. for it to be publically visible. I did get a few visits (less than 10), which I suspect could just be bots/AI crawling new websites. Zeo paying customers so far.
I'm trying to get the word out there that the website is live, gather feedback, and continue building the website based on that feedback (what features an platforms to add, where things coul be optimized, ...).
Where I would genuinely love your feedback:
Are all the website's features intuitive, or can some aspects be improved?
Is €7 / €19 / €39 per month sane pricing for this? (Competing Vinted-alert tools charge €4-15 for ONE platform.)
Generally, I'm open to all types of feedback. This is my first time launching a product, and I'm sure there is a lot I can learn!
