Amazon Post-Purchase Upsell (Shopify app)
Upsell any Amazon product + earn commission
PMF (Product-Market Fit) is important, but still overrated. What's underrated is PIF (Product-Idea Fit). If a high percentage of your target users see your product and immediately think: "I need that", you have PIF.
Case and point - With our Amazon upsell Shopify app, we definitely don't have PMF yet. It's in the early stages, we are still building features, improving user experience, and getting the product to a good place.
But we definitely have PIF, which is exciting as heck! We just surpassed 100 active merchants in our second month with very limited marketing - including onboarding 97 new merchants in the last month.
By the way, I just made up PIF - so that's why you haven't heard of it before 😂
This app has 30 downloads. It has a free version, but I am planning on changing it to a free trial with a paid-only version so that I can actually see if people are willing to pay for this. That will test if it is a viable product.
I have done virtually no marketing yet.

This is a pretty decent idea, adding Amazon product links to the order confirmation email. I was curious, how does your solution determine which Amazon products appear in the email? Is it random or based on the line items of the Shopify order?
Also, Shopify has added a timestamp of sorts to app reviews so that merchants can see how long someone was using the app before they left a review. If it's within your control it may be worth trying to get this review removed temporarily and maybe added again at a later date to prevent merchants from getting suspicious. A valid 5 star review 7 minutes after an app was installed is fairly uncommon.
