September 13, 2019 We added Backlink Monitoring to AmznHawk

Backlinks are a huge part of building affiliate niche sites, and there is a wealth of information on the tactics used to obtain these links. But very few people talk about after you achieve these links on how you make sure they stay up and pointing to your site. The closest tool we found that does this is AHREFs. So we realized that the same functionality we use to monitor amazon associate sites and products could be used to monitor backlinks.

After coming up with the idea it took about a month before we finally pushed the feature live - and we think its a great addition to our core product. Our mission continues on to be the ultimate tool for amazon associate website owners.

March 28, 2019 Solving our own problems.

Managing multiple amazon associate sites can be time consuming, we ran into a few different issues. First, we found out a lot of products we were linking to were unavailable, creating a bad user experience for our readers , then we found multiple links we had were pointing to the wrong associate id, on top of this an amazon plugin was being used that would swap out our associate ID for the plugin developers ID in regions we didn't have set up. All of these issues drove us to build an in house product that increased our sales by 24% once fixing all the linking issues. We figured out we wanted to share this success with others, and built our monitoring tool, amznhawk
