We started Antetype's company "Cotype GmbH" in early 2021. But the story of Antetype goes back way further than that: Back in 2012, an early version of our design and prototyping tool was build as an internal tool for one of the leading UX agencies in the German-speaking market.
"If disruptions was used less often today, I'd call Antetype so", one early user called it. Antetype already had its powerful truly-responsive layout that adapts to changing content. You set the rules and it obeys.
Today, other tools try to imitate Antetype's layout with things like "Auto Layout". While we appreciate they helped designers with this feature, we still see a lot of room for improvemenet.
So we finally spun Antetype out in 2021. And we're on track to make it a tool loved by designers worldwide.
