AnyDateTime
Paste any dateline and different for quick view & copy
As a former engineer and now a product manager for a software company, very often certain system events like crashes or anomalies happen. We can pick up system date-time from logs or other monitoring tools.
We need to trace the root cause, therefore, we need to find out when it happens. However, it is difficult to know exactly when it happens from a system date-time. Sometimes we want to check the local date-time. Sometimes we want to know how long ago did this event happen. Sometimes we want to know the time base on the specific country.
I can only google and backward calculate it. I feel that I wasted enough time trying to figure out when exactly an event happen. Therefore, I built AnyDateTime. Now, I can simply paste any date time and get a list of results. I can easily identify the item I want and even copy it.
After getting it to a useable state, I have been using AnyDateTime daily for a month now. It lives on the tasks bar and whenever I need information from a date-time, I just paste into the search input. It's been saving me time from googling. I aim to improve the UI and start beta testing!

Having a full-time job takes away my energy to work at night. I finally decided to put in work again to tackle this. Notice that I did not properly document what is needed to be done, it took me a while to get started again. But this time, I aim to work a little bit every day to keep my momentum going.

Throughout my career, I always struggle with date-time. Sometimes I just want a quick peek on when exactly this date-time happen. Sometimes I want to know the ISO format. Sometimes I want to know how long away from the scheduled date time. I always have to google it. I finally decided to build sometimes that are smart enough to pick up a date-time and provide different result!

I always have frustration working with system date-time. Is not readable and usually are not the local timezone. Sometimes I just want to know when it happens, how long is it away or what is it in another timezone.
