August 7, 2025 Turning Accelerator Rejections into Instant Insight: Why I Built ApplicationFeedback

Honestly, I kinda got burned last year. You know that feeling when you pour like way too many late night hours into an accelerator app, hit submit, and then..... nothing. Weeks later the “feedback” trickles in (if you can even call two vague sentences feedback) and by then you've already moved on or worse, lost momentum. That stung, and talking to other founders I realised I wasn’t the only one riding the same merry go round of guess and hope edits.

So I hacked together a little prototype that spat out line-by-line “this sucks / keep this” notes on my own draft. It was rough, but the clarity felt amazing like someone finally turned on the lights. That tiny win snowballed: friends asked for it, then their friends, and suddenly I’m thinking “maybe this should actually exist for real.”

ApplicationFeedback is my attempt to bottle that blunt, right-now critique so no one else has to wait around biting their nails. It’s not perfect (nothing is on day one), but it’s honest, fast, and hopefully saves founders those painful, wasted weeks I went through.

About

I got rejected from an accelerator last year. the feedback came weeks later and was useless. I built ApplicationFeedback so founders get honest, instant notes while it still matters, not boilerplate after deadlines.
