November 7, 2021 Released initial version

AppMasker is finally production-ready! (https://app.appmasker.com) I added FullStory integration in order to see what users are experiencing in the app.

It took a while to figure out the dynamic functionality of the reverse-proxy server, but now its up and ready to go. I have a few users who have signed up but haven't done anything with the app yet. So I'll be reaching out to them to see what the hold-up is. Cheers!

Hi Cory, I am having a lot of issues with mysass.com/home?vendor=vendorid
For simple like domain or subdomain it works fine. for the case I said neither mysass.com/home?vendor=vendorid:443 or mysass.com:443/home?vendor=vendorid works. Can you please help here ?

Hi! Are you saying you want to reverse-proxy to mysaas.com:443/home?vendor=vendorId and that each vendor has a custom domain like "examplevendor.com"? So in other words, you want to include the path "/home" and the query string "vendor=vendorId" when reverse proxying for your backend to return the correct content?

I asked a few micro SaaS leaders how they were dealing with custom domains in their apps for their clients. One of them expressed that this was a huge problem they were facing and wanted to solve it. Mainly, juggling the SSL certificates was painful, something that AppMasker excels at.

We discussed how AppMasker could solve the problem for his company and make their customer server instances more stable. We closed a mid 5-figures contract that will roll into a subscription after deployment to build a custom solution that would serve as the foundation for AppMasker.

August 25, 2021 Launched Landing Page

I used Webflow to launch the initial landing page to describe what I thought AppMasker should be. This helped me gauge interest in the concept and collect emails a few interested customers.

I started replying to "what are you building" threads on Twitter and found some people who wanted to try it! Check it out: https://appmasker.com

It’s a common problem with SaaS apps that they need to offer custom domains. Managing SSL certificates and proper routing for custom domains is very complicated.
