The song was released on 18 October 2024 via The Black Label and Atlantic Records, and is the lead single from her upcoming debut studio album Rosie (2024).

The song is a pop-punk and pop song with influences of retro pop-rock riffs, indie rock, and electro-pop.

It is Rosé's first single in three years, and her first since leaving YG Entertainment and Interscope Records in 2023 as a solo artist.
