Tiny, weird games
Released my latest game as part of a collaboration with a good friend. We're really proud of this game. It tackles everything from the definition of art, the purpose of creation, the search for meaning... and also if maybe paintings of cats can travel anywhere they please.
Check it out:
We're currently more than halfway through our playtest for the upcoming game, "Pictures in an Exhibition" - a LARP designed to be played via zoom, where players portray animate works of art in a museum, gallery, or studio.
So far I'm delighted to say that the test is going great. the players are invested, the costumes are amazing, and we're pushing the boundaries of what a LARP can look like.

Dinner for The Recently Deceased is a small, live-action role playing game for 5-12 players. It lasts 3-6 hours and can range in tone from comedy to horror.
This game is low-structure/rules-light/emergent. It has very few mechanics and relies heavily on acting and imagination. It's perfect for a dinner party game for small gatherings.
If you like Beetlejuice, you're going to love this.

After meeting John Saddington at an Indie Hackers digital mixer, I was thrilled when he asked to sit down with me and chat about my two careers: content marketing and game design, and just how important community is to both.
I had a great time answering these questions, even if I did have myself a slightly indulgent political rant on one of the questions!
Take a look here.

For Halloween, I released an expansion pack for MF:C.
The expansion pack offers a set of several different possible game scenarios for players to interact with and use as a template.
I intentionally tried to make the stories as diverse and interesting as possible, ranging from a nuclear family meeting an ex-zombie ex-boyfriend at the end of a zombie plague to a grandma meeting her grandchild's two genderless demonic partners to a woman introducing her werewolf boyfriend to her sisters before bringing him home for Shabbat dinner.
They're all a blast and now come included with the original download by default.

This is a collection of five tiny LARPs to be played while socially distancing.
100% of proceeds go towards The Artist Relief Fund for supporting artists during COVID-19. And they will continue to keep going to that charity as long as the game is sold!

The game really is called "Monster Fucker: Commitment" which is a joke on the title styling popularized by vampire LARPs, as well as a very literally descriptive title.
The game is a short, live-action game about introducing the monster you're dating to your family.

A "clicky" is less of a game than a random text generator. But they're snarky and fun and a blast to make.
I created my first two clickys with the help of my very good friend, Orion, who sat me down and taught me how to attempt programming, so I owe him for the fact that these things are even usable.
You can play one about gender at the link!

Twine is a narrative, storytelling game. I was hugely inspired to start making them after playing the classic Twine "With Those We Love Alive." (Which I highly recommend.)
My first Twine was created as a gift for my partner.
Ironically, most of my published Twines have been "fan games" based on other game universes. You can play my published Twines at the following link.
