Armguware

After years of developing, the AI in Armguware is able to detect poses of live streamers on Chaturbate, and then reflects the movements on sex toys. As a result, audience can have live haptic feedback while watching live streams. Currently the supported sex toy is called “the Handy”, which is made by a Norwegian company. We also have deployed our SaaS platform – Armguware SaaS, which utilizes GPU to accelerate the calculation of AI. Audiences now no longer need to install the vApp.

We hope this product can benefit both two Cs – live stream creators and live stream consumers. In the age of AI, we think that both of them deserve new ways to attract and interact with each other, instead of just sitting and waiting for hours and hours.

This article shall be the last update of this product, due to its sensitive content. Many thanks for Indie Hackers. Cheers.

#SaaS-beta

We have refined design of our vApp and cloud site to make it more comfortable to view on mobile devices. Not only customers now can re-stream on mobile devices at home, but also being mobile-friendly might help improve SEO ranking due to Google's new policy. We also changed our theme from dark mode to light mode to bring new atmosphere to customers.

#0.9.9.95-beta

We usually have to drag the video progress bar backward and forward to find the scenes in the saved streams which interest us. Now we have deployed TensorFlow Lite model in VM, so that you can go directly to highlighted moments without the need to skim the whole video.

#0.9.9.94-beta

Now users can receive promoted and suggested live streamers in VM. Promoted live streamers are those who have joined our affiliate program. Suggested live streamers are those who we proactively recommend to users. By both means, we hope users can just sit back and enjoy what we choose for them.

#0.9.9.93-beta

To make user feel free to install and uninstall our browser App (in form of virtual machine), we released a new feature which backs up user's watch later list to cloud. We think that once user's data is portable, the list can be restored once user re-installs VM again, which also brings convenience to user.

Some people might not want to create an account, because it takes time and effort. Now we have made some of our features free in terms of accessibility. After users install, they can try and experience our application immediately. Once they are satisfied and curious about what further free features are provided, they can register an account for that.

#0.9.9.91-beta #growth

We have released a new feature called "Live Streamers of The Day" in our VM, so now uses can see promoted live streamers and decide if they want to watch them later. By this way, we hope we can motivate those live streamers who have attended our affiliate program and bring audiences to them.

#0.9.9.9-beta #affiliate

We designed an affiliate program trying to help those potential live streamers. It makes streamers quit livestreaming after they just started because there are not enough audience watching their livestreams or their upvotes are too few to attract people.

#affiliate

The display ad is an 48x48 icon which streamers can put it on their profile page. When broadcasting, the icon is just next to streamer's video frame. The icon links to our product page and is with GA campaign parameters for analysis. Streamer allowed me to pay daily.

Some of my friends and ex-colleagues helped me test product and gave me previous feedback. Then I refined product according to their precious feedback. There is a forum which I almost visit everyday, so I left messages on it to ask for public testers.
