Arrowlancer
Empowering Global Talent to Thrive in the Netherlands.
I never set out to build ArrowLancer. The original plan? A freelance platform.
That was the dream, and I was deep into development while living in Belgium. But life had other plans.
The company I was with at the time ran into internal conflicts—things fell apart, and they couldn’t keep up. That meant I had to switch jobs. Simple, right? Wrong. Finding a new job as a migrant was a nightmare.
Every email was the same:
❌ "We don’t sponsor visas."
❌ "Unfortunately, we can’t proceed."
❌ "Best of luck."
So instead of waiting for luck, I built a tool—an AI-powered system that searched and filtered real sponsorship jobs in the Netherlands (where I wanted to go). And it worked. I got hired and moved.
I thought that was the end of it. But life had a sequel planned.
Recently, I was in another tight spot—my contract renewal was left until the last minute. And for a migrant, no contract = pack your bags.
I was sure they’d renew, but doubt is brutal. I needed a backup plan.
So, I fired up ArrowLancer again. Within a week, I had:
✅ Two interviews lined up (one online, one in person).
✅ Both led to follow-up technical interviews.
Then, my current company renewed my contract, so I didn’t continue the process. But if I had needed it, ArrowLancer had my back.
One Interview is Enough for the Right People
Some might think, "Only two interviews? That’s not much."
But when you’re a skilled migrant, one interview is enough. The key is not applying everywhere—it’s applying where it actually matters.
And that’s exactly what ArrowLancer does:
✅ It removes the guesswork.
✅ It finds real visa-sponsored jobs.
✅ It helps skilled professionals focus on what matters—getting hired.
What started as a personal tool out of necessity is now something I’m building for everyone in the same struggle. Because no one should have to rely on luck to find the right job.
