ASA Agent

AI autopilot for Apple Search Ads. Automates keyword discove

March 11, 2026 I spent mass-hours on Apple Search Ads busywork, so I built an agent to do it

I've been running Apple Search Ads for my iOS apps for a couple of years. It's one of the best channels for downloads - but managing it is genuinely the worst part of my week.

Go in, check what's wasting money, adjust bids, add negatives, move search terms around. Not hard, just painfully repetitive. The kind of task where you think "I'll do it later" and then later never happens.

So I built an AI agent that connects to Apple's API and does it twice a day. Bids, negatives, keyword management - all automatic. I get a report instead of a spreadsheet.

Been running it on my own apps, now opening it up. $150 MRR so far just from showing it to a few people. First time building a B2B tool after years of consumer apps and honestly - people paying for something that solves a real pain they already have feels completely different from trying to convince someone to download yet another app.

Early stage, lots to build. Would love to hear from anyone else running ASA - what's the most annoying part for you?

For me the annoying part is search-term hygiene after the first few days. ASA can make a campaign look alive with installs, but the real work is pruning broad terms that never turn into trials or paid users.

If your agent can show “this term drove installs but no downstream events” and suggest negatives, that is more valuable than bid changes alone. Especially for consumer apps where CPI can look fine while the subscription math is broken.

Managing Apple Search Ads manually ate hours every week. Built an AI agent to do it instead. Now it runs twice a day with zero manual work.
