AsanaDaily
Minimalist dashboard for asana.com
I installed HotJar a few days ago, before sharing the website.
Today I watched a bunch of video recordings of users browsing my landing page (not the product itself), and their behaviour was completely different from what I expected. Focused on the wrong things, clicked around in what I'm sure is palpable frustration, and didn't convert.
Actioning this solid learning felt great. I tweaked the website to be more focused and actionable, fingers crossed for better browsing in future!

My prediction was correct! Plenty of people want the product, but they're siloed into their own organisations, and it's hard to tell which companies use asana (something people normally don't bother to share)
So I recently began coding the product, and recently finished. It's MVP, as a webapp first instead of native iPad, as requested by several users.
If you use Asana, check it out!

That's right, "coders gonna code" is no longer a maxim.
I'm a living counter-example, and I have in my possession only one (1) human brain.
What that means for you is, that you, too, can step out of your comfort zone / text editor, and use that same human brain to hustle, advertise and put your work out there.
I made a bet with a mate to STOP ALL FURTHER CODING until I've shared and hustled this product sufficiently to confirm its utility, to enough people.
If you're using Asana / Trello to manage your tasks, and you find you have too many tasks to focus on, reach out to me here; I'll hook up my fellow IH members.
Prediction: The next milestone will be that a number of people love this and want it, and it's just tricky to reach them!

Startup founders struggle with too many tasks on asana / trello. I had this problem daily, and found that I lacked a clear and minimal dashboard for asana. It shows you only "what you are working on today" Focus!
