ASMR Hunt
ASMR aggregator, to help you find what relaxes you.
As a Developer it is always fun to add new features. Especially when the features just add that hint of awesome to your product. I have been personally using my product to find what features i would personally want. These include upvoting or favoriting ASMR that I like and would want to share, Searchable categories, Artist pages, and just beefing up the homepage. I feel adding these have added value to the overall website.
Something else that I have been focusing on is SEO. One feature I am super happy with, and am seeing the return on; is my sitemap.
Sometimes building a sitemap can be a pain. However, I found a way to dynamically generate my sitemap. Every time it is pulled it is up to date. I think it is working as well.
Looking at my Google Analytics, I have 58% traffic is organic google search traffic. Having 129 unique visitors. 8% of these visitors are returning to my site. This makes me happy. People are actually using my site. 6% of these unique visitors have registered, of the returning users that is 81% have registered. To me that is neat, and more motivating. Now to more marketing.
TLRD; I built features because it adds value, and it's what I enjoy doing. SEO was one of those features, and it appears to be working.
Just wanted to document that I was able to get many features pushed out today.
My launch was a quick beta launch. I like to get my idea of a website out as fast as possible. Hence why I gave my self only 24 hours to build and push something. I put it on product hunt, and got just shy of 50 upvotes. I know that isn't significant, but enough to motivate me to put some more effort into something. Hence the features.

Still working on upvotes, but this feature will be out shortly. I have some ideas of main page functionality once i get upvotes implemented. I also want to implement a comments section as well.

Well it seems appropriate to launch on product hunt. After all it's a ASMR aggregator based on product hunt :).
Product Hunt launches are always a roller coaster for me. I first launch get really excited... then just wait. However, we got featured 10 hours later, and I was super excited about that.
Also had a few people sign up. It will be interesting to see if they upvote or share anything.
As I mentioned in my product hunt launch. I built ASMR hunt in 24 hours. I launched it so soon, because I want to get a feel for the interest in it. See if people sign up and engage.
I continually adding ASMR videos, and my hope is that others will as well. I am working on a moderation system. So as to make sure these are actually ASMR videos and not just random videos.

I had been browsing product hunt, and started wondering if people would be interested with a ASMR aggregator like Product Hunt but for ASMR videos/podcast/audio/etc.
After listening to an episode of indiehackers podcast, I decided i would look to see if the domain name was for sale. Looked and saw that ASMRHunt.com wasn't taken, so I pulled the trigger!
