AssetPad

We launched the closed beta at the beginning of May 2021.

The product was free during the beta and included a core set of features.

A new UK based developer joined the team which allowed us to start building features faster.

Our plan was really to focus on helping companies manage their IT assets, and then add additional tooling layer.

We also started shifting development time towards implementation of the paid plans.

This is a product that I've wanted to build for a long time.

The idea sat in the back of my mind for the whole of 2020. I spent months designing, planning and talking with potential users.

The plan was to build this as a side project initially. Bootstrapped and built by a solo founder at the start.

On the 1st of January 2021, development began.
