AssistPlant

I kept forgetting when I last watered my plants. When I had just one, I could roughly remember — but once I ended up with five, each needing a different watering frequency, it became a real problem. I tried writing notes for each plant, but that quickly turned into a hassle. So I started looking for an app that could handle it for me. I tested several, yet none felt right for me. That’s when I decided to build something for myself. As I worked on it, I realized it could be more than just a simple logger for watering, fertilizing, and other plant care events. It could also excel at reminders — delivering them in places I already rely on, like my Google Calendar or email inbox. And that’s when the idea really started rolling.
