Astrologica

I wanted a horoscope that actually knows me. Not generic sun-sign paragraphs — something built from my full birth chart, delivered fresh each morning, in a format I'd actually enjoy.

So I built Astrologica.

It generates a personal daily podcast using your exact birth data — natal chart, transits, progressions — synthesized into a 2–3 minute audio episode. Every morning, a new one is waiting for you.

**Why a podcast format?**

I listen to podcasts while making coffee. I wanted my daily horoscope to fit that same habit — not a notification to dismiss or a page to scroll through, but something I could actually listen to. Audio felt right.

**The hard parts**

Getting astrological data right is surprisingly involved. I ended up building on top of Swiss Ephemeris, which is the same engine professional astrologers use. The prompting work to turn raw chart data into something that sounds like a thoughtful astrologer — not a fortune cookie — took a lot of iteration.

**Where it's at**

Launched in December 2025. Still early, still learning. The core loop works: you put in your birth details once, and every morning a fresh episode is waiting.

If you're into astrology (or just curious), I'd love to hear what you think.
