September 18, 2019 Announcing Carrom School

https://www.carrom.io/school
We want to bring down the cost of payroll and compliance for remote teams, hence decided to focus vertically on one country.
A flexible career accelerator with mentorship and tutoring for software engineers in India to restart your career as a remote developer. Don't pay until you get a well-paying job.

Carrom's vision is to bring equal opportunity to the talents who are spread across the world. We believe that remote work is a tool to solve this inequality. We are starting from the 5.2 million software engineers in India and want to expand into other developing countries.

Onboarding an employee is tricky. 31% of the employees don't make it past the first 2 months due to bad onboarding. Things are worse in remote teams.
I've seen and experienced this personally having worked in multiple remote teams.

September 16, 2018 Remote teams are the future

We are passionate about remote work. Remote teams are the future, at least in certain industries. It needs more tools to make remote work normal. Hopefully, the term remote team shouldn't exist. A team should be called just a team, independent of whether it is remote or not.
