After incorporating direct feedback from hundreds of coaches and athletes, prototype designs are adjusted and finalized today, ready for MVP development.
Getting to this point proved to more difficult than initially thought. It made a big difference to ask potential users questions about their problems and not about their ideas on features they'd like to see. Additionally, the spike in concept feedback due to COVID-19 fears and rising acceptance of virtual training helped to give our team a clear path forward to an MVP.
Colin Reno joins to advise on all things product-related for Athleticus. He's worked several years developing marketing growth strategies and enhancing customer experiences for a variety of fitness brands. He's also a professional strength and conditioning coach. As a former two-sport Division I athlete for the Syracuse University in football and track & field, Colin has a genuine passion for living an active lifestyle and educating others. He's had the opportunity of coaching NCAA Division I and III athletic programs, as well as the Israeli National Men's and Women's Lacrosse teams. Along with having managed the conditioning testing for the New York Rangers, Colin is a Board-Certified Exercise Physiologist (EPC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and USA-W Level 1 Sport Performance Coach (USA-W). Additionally, he holds a BS and MS degree in Health and Exercise Science from Syracuse University and Merrimack College respectively.

Greg Jordan, a young/talented programmer and Twitter engineer, offers to provide development support for the Athleticus App. Attracted by the mission and his own passion to help active lifestyle enthusiasts extend their athletic lives, Greg participates in concepting discussions and creates a project plan for development.

As outreach is only just beginning, Ryan recognizes importance of establishing guidance for recruiting a potential technical co-founder. Early concept designs are created by Ryan and shared with tech industry experts to provide feedback. Its at this time that two experienced startup tech advisors in the Boston area show a strong interest in the concept and begin providing initial advice.
