Music mastering analysis for independent producers
Hi Indie Hackers,
I’m Jacek, an independent music producer and the founder of Aumixys.
I built it because mastering feedback can be confusing: LUFS, True Peak, dynamics, stereo width and clipping often show up as isolated numbers, without making it clear what to do next.
Aumixys helps independent producers check a track before release and turn those measurements into practical feedback.
It currently focuses on:
- loudness and dynamics
- True Peak and clipping risks
- stereo balance
- a clear mastering report
- before/after comparison where a correction is useful
The goal is not to replace an experienced mastering engineer. It’s to give creators a faster way to understand what is happening in their file before publishing it.

The “what do I actually do with these numbers?” problem feels stronger than the metrics themselves.
Curious whether producers mainly struggle to interpret the measurements, or whether they already know what they mean but lack confidence in deciding when a master is ready to release.
That makes sense. I’ll be interested to see how that “ready to release” layer holds up once you have more producers using it.
