Australian Ski Trips

Built the initial prototype in 3-4 days.
I built this on nodejs and mongodb.
In hindsight I should've be even more quicker and used something like Airtable x Wordpress or even something like Wix.

After the prototype was built, I printed 5 colored flyers and 20 b&w flyers and went to Monash Uni(where I did my undergrad) to stick them all over the place. I also placed a QR code on the flyer so I could track the clicks. This was a minor growth hacking stunt I did to get the blood flowing.

[Good]

• Took action. Went out on a bloody cold and windy day to stick up flyers.
• Did this whole thing in a day(including desiging the flyers, going to uni and sticking them up)

[Bad]

• Should've picked a better day. Clubweek is next week so there should be more people. Hopefully I can be free then.
• Should've interacted more with people instead of just sticking up flyers.

[Takeways]

• When in the validation stage, especially with non-techy products, use as little time as possible to validate the idea.
• Remove all cruft from your website/product for the mvp stage.
