Passwordless authentication made easy
With most of the backend work done, I decided to publish my product.
A quick Vue-based SPA which described how to register and use the product. And by using I meant solely firing curl requests to the backend!
Authentication inspired by Slack's magic links - and that's how I got started with Authmagic.io
While working on another side-project of mine I needed to develop a way to verify my users and keep it to a minimum.
Using a simple email-based workflow seemed like the best idea to minimize the development effort.
The same idea would be used to log users in, in a similar fashion to Slack's magic links.
It wasn't long that I realized it's actually a self-contained idea I could launch for other people to use - and I needed to write the code anyway.
