Auto Swiper
Auto Swiper for Tinder, Bumble, Badoo, Lovoo and OkCupid.
Hey Indie Hackers 👋
It’s been a long time since my last update here — too long, honestly. The truth is, I had to take a step back due to burnout. Recovery has been slow, but I’m finally getting back into the swing of things and have started working on Auto Swiper again.
And there's a lot to share!
⚙️ Backend Revamp & Laravel Migration
I’ve moved the entire website and backend from the old t11y setup to Laravel, which powers the rest of the system. Now that everything runs in one ecosystem, it’s much easier to manage, develop, and deploy.
This move also made it possible to integrate the Outrank.so webhook, so I’m now experimenting with automated blog publishing and improving SEO to boost discoverability.
🎨 Styling Refresh + UX Upgrades
The UI got a long-overdue refresh. I made styling improvements across the board, with small but impactful layout tweaks, spacing, and visual polish.
It’s now way more usable on mobile and tablets, and I also improved the admin panel to make it easier for me to manage sessions, users, and integrations behind the scenes.
🔧 Extension Update: Version 3.30.0
A new version of the extension just dropped!
Changelog for 3.30.0:
- 🐛 Fixed a bug on Tinder where it couldn’t simulate usage or swipe through profile pictures
✅ Added Swipe Start / End Time to Session (Synced to Backend)
📄 New Swipe Session Log — You can now see exactly who you swiped on
⚡ Major performance improvements in popup and background scripts
🛠️ Better stability + error handling for all dating site integrations
📦 Updated dependencies for smoother performance
🔜 What’s Next?
Now that the foundation is stable again, I’m shifting focus toward new features for the Auto Swiper system.
Here’s what I’m aiming for next:
Adding more intelligent filters and control over swipe behavior
Improved session analytics and history tracking
Expanding support for additional dating platforms
Continuing to fine-tune mobile experience and extension UX
Experimenting more with automated content (Outrank.so) to grow visibility
Thanks to everyone who’s stuck around through the quiet patch. If you’re actively using Auto Swiper — or want to give it a shot — feel free to reach out. I’m back at it, and there’s more to come.
Life-Changing Event and Brief Hiatus
On July 26th, my world transformed with the birth of my son. As you might expect, this joyous event meant dedicating most of my time to our new family member, leaving little opportunity for extension development.
Return to Development
Now, six weeks later, our little one is sleeping more independently, allowing me to carve out some time to refocus on Auto Swiper. I've been excited to dive back in, addressing fixes and implementing new features based on user requests.
New Feature Highlight: "Forced Match"
One notable addition is the "Forced Match" feature, designed primarily for female users. This function executes a specific swiping pattern: one left swipe, one right swipe, followed by a page reload. This cycle repeats, potentially resulting in instant matches.
Changelog for Version 3.22.0
- Introduced "Force Match Swipe" option for Pro and Ultimate subscriptions
- Implemented backend swipe log transmission for enhanced analysis and future features
- Added intuitive icons to various buttons
- Included required words in the Stats page
- Displayed picture count of the last profile on the Progress page
- Fixed issues with Swipe Stats and Logs saving when the extension popup is closed
- Resolved translation display problems on Safari
- Optimized memory usage
- Updated translations
- Upgraded various dependencies for improved compatibility and performance
Website Enhancements
I've also addressed a long-standing concern regarding the pricing table/cards on the website. The new design features a table-style layout for desktop viewing, which transforms into separate cards for mobile users, enhancing readability across devices.

I'm thrilled to announce that, after several weeks of programming, the latest update to the backend server is finally live! This update has been a top priority for me, driven by the valuable feedback and requests from some of our dedicated users.
One of the standout features of this update is the ability for Ultimate Users to build extensions with included Access Tokens. This means that once the extension is built, you no longer need to log in each time you use it. This feature was highly requested by our community, and I'm excited to see it come to fruition.
With Access Tokens integrated directly into the extension builds, users can save significant time and streamline their workflow. No more repetitive logins – just seamless, efficient access to your extensions whenever you need them. This improvement not only enhances user experience but also boosts productivity by allowing you to focus on what matters most.
I want to extend a huge thank you to our users for their continuous feedback and support. Your insights are invaluable, and they drive us to keep improving Auto Swiper. As always, I’m eager to hear your thoughts on this new feature and any other suggestions you might have.
Stay tuned for more updates and enhancements. Together, we're making Auto Swiper the best it can be!

On a nice Monday morning, I was making my routine checks of my extensions. Do all systems work? Are they still swiping on the major dating sites like Tinder, Bumble, and Badoo? Then, I looked in the Chrome Web Store for my search ranking and to see if there were any other new auto-swipers I needed to watch out for ;)
And there it was, a new auto-swiper extension released on the first of April. So, I opened the detail view and couldn't believe my eyes as I saw a familiar look of the UI with some slight changes. So, I dug deeper and checked out the description... Hmm... that sounds familiar, and it is... since I had written this description for the web store myself. So, he even copy-pasted my description with just one sentence more, and instead of "Auto Swiper," he writes "AutoSwiper."
So, I downloaded the extension files to check if I could find any code references to me. Most of the time, this is a bit harder since my extension was built and minified. Sure, he would do the same and, in addition, he also obfuscated the code (the naming of methods and functions were not recognizable, which is not allowed by Google), and still, he was able to publish it. "WTF, Google?"
So, after downloading, the first thing I checked was the manifest.json, and I couldn't believe what I saw there. He was even too lazy to remove my website's URL from the host permissions. Even the order of the "content_scripts->matches" was the same. That's quite unique, I would guess. So, this was another clear sign that he had stolen some code from my extension!
Well, what to do now?
- I have contacted this person by mail about my concerns and requested him to take down the extension, else he will hear from my lawyer (need to find one who is used to such matters).
- I have reported copyright issues with this extension to Google.
- I have additionally mailed Google about the removal of this extension, which is clearly violating my copyright.
- I have made a review on his extension about this issue and linked my extension (most likely will get removed for spam, XD).
- I have made plenty of screenshots and copied the code from the extension so I have it as a backup for any further steps.
So, now I'm waiting for 1-2 weeks to get some response from Google. If not, I will need to contact a lawyer in this matter.
I have no problem when users take inspiration from my work, but this is clearly too much for me and makes me mad that some people think they can just do what they want!
What do you guys think? Have you also had such problems? Do you maybe know a good, affordable ;) lawyer for this matter?
Time flies, and it's already the middle of March. Since my last post, I've rolled out some updates: version 3.17.0 at the start of February, followed by 3.18.0 just recently.
With 3.18.0, I also changed the title of the extension in the Chrome Web Store to combat poor "search results" and the push from other creators. I was compelled to include top dating sites Tinder and Bumble in the title. Initially, I was reluctant because I believe the title shouldn't have to name the sites the extension is designed for. However, since search results weigh the title far more than the description, installs, and ratings, I was overshadowed by other extensions, including ones with themes like a "Bumble bee" Transformers-inspired theme. The name made it apparent its only goal was to suppress mine. Maybe I'm wrong, but who spells "Bumblebee" separately unless they're targeting Bumble?

Now, as you can see in the screenshots, I'm back on top. Besides improving rank in search results, I'm enhancing the website with more information and dedicated pages for the top features, including short videos to help users better understand my extension.

Let's see how these changes will boost the acquisition of new subscribers and enable me to develop more features for Auto Swiper.

As the new Year has started i was able to reduce my normal Day Job to work more on the Auto-Swiper and maybe some other Projects ;)
My next Priorities are to bring some new Features to the Auto-Swiper and sure some Bugfixes. I also hope to make some refactoring to the Code to improve the Stability and Performance.
Beside the Extension itself i also work to improve the Backend ( Payment) Site to make it easy for ordering more Devices to your Account or other small things.
A huge feature will be to be able to calculate the Distance between you and the Profile where the Profile just shows a Place. This is quite a thing since i need to make API Request to gather the Coordinates from that Location and then Calculate the Distance to your Location. Since there are many Swipes don per Second / Minute / Hour and Day i need a Caching System to be able to answer them Quickly and Cost effective since such Date needs to get first Gathered from an API who brings some Additional Costs to it.
v3.16.0 (2024-01-27)
- Added Date and Time of swipe to the Log
- Added option to reset Settings to Default
- Changed order of wanted / unwanted words to first check for unwanted words and then for wanted words
- Fixed Stats Page loading issue
- Refactoring made some small ui / code changes to improve usability
- Updated translations
- Updated various dependencies to ensure compatibility and performance enhancements

This autumn has been a season of extraordinary achievements for Auto Swiper. In October, we hit an unprecedented milestone of 15 million swipes, underscoring the sheer enthusiasm and engagement of our users.
But the milestones didn’t stop there. Come November, we reached another landmark moment: Auto Swiper now has over 8,000 active users on the Chrome Webstore! This growth is a thrilling endorsement of the hard work invested.
With such a significant increase in both user numbers and engagement, it's clear that Auto Swiper has some potential for more. And as the developer, I’m not resting on these laurels. I’ve been already working on the next version, 3.14.0, achieving a remarkable feat of reducing the package size by half to a lean 400kb, ensuring even faster performance without compromising quality. Plus, the next update will introduce an improved map feature for location selection.
Thank you to all the swipers out there! Your trust and support propel Auto Swiper forward. Here's to more milestones and more swipes!

Here an update on the last Changes happen to the Extension. I also made some changes to my Payment / Subscription backend to improve on all ends.
I was also forced to look into users who have used my Service as Testing Ground for there Stolen Credit Cards. What a strange thing you need to watch out if you allow Customers to Pay for your Service. So i now have a System in Place to prevent users to Test a massive Amount of Credit Cards on my System. Strange that i was needed to Implement such things and the Payment Provider who had all the Infos did just Inform me instead of having a System in Place to prevent.
Next up is to implement support for the Beeline System on Bumble and some small bugfixes on swiping. And hopefully i have soon some time to start on the Auto Message feature so many Customers are requesting.
